EPISODE 21 — WHILE WE’RE WAITING — BRAD & JILL SULLIVAN
On today's podcast, we welcome Brad and Jill Sullivan, co-founders of the While We're Waiting ministry. The conversation is rich and covers a variety of topics. The conversation begins by talking about their daughter, Hannah, and her cancer journey, which took her to Heaven in 2009. Brad and Jill testify to God's faithfulness through grief, and offer such encouragement to those who are grieving. We also spent time talking about the While We're Waiting ministry. If you are a bereaved parent, we hope you'll attend a weekend retreat and find comfort, community, and hope that comes from being with others who are traveling the road of child loss.

MEET BRAD & JILL
Brad and Jill Sullivan have been married since 1987 and are the parents of two daughters, Hannah and Bethany. They co-founded the While We're Waiting ministry in 2011, after Hannah went to Heaven at the age of seventeen, following a year-long battle with glioblastoma brain cancer. The While We’re Waiting ministry provides free faith-based retreats for bereaved parents all around the United States, as well as maintaining a network of Biblically-based, in-person support groups and social media resources for parents grieving the loss of a child. Jill also hosts a weekly podcast titled “While We’re Waiting–Hope After Child Loss,” which is available on all major podcast platforms.
The goal of all While We’re Waiting services and events is to point parents to the hope we have in Jesus and to encourage them to live well while they’re waiting to see their children in Heaven one day. Before retirement, Brad was a school administrator, and Jill was a speech-language pathologist. In their free time they enjoy Razorback sports, hiking in the Ozarks, and spending time with their daughter Bethany.
