This book doesn’t take long to read, but will profoundly touch your heart and mind. Lewis eloquently and honestly puts on paper what we all are feeling and thinking when we lose someone dear to us. This is an incredibly helpful read.
A Grace Disguised: How the Soul Grows Through Loss by Jerry Stittser
Jerry Sittser’s journey through the loss of his wife, mother, and daughter as the result of being hit by a drunk driver resonates with anyone who has lost someone. Like C. S. Lewis, Sittser asks himself difficult questions and his doubts, fears, failures, pain, hopes, and trust will comfort and challenge your soul. This is one of our favorites.
