Statement of Faith

The Authority of the Bible

The Bible is the divinely inspired Word of God, is inerrant in the original writings, is God’s revelation of Himself to man, and is the supreme and final authority in faith and life.

The Trinity of God

There is only one living and true God, eternally existing in three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

The Person and Work of Jesus Christ

Jesus Christ is God the Son, conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary, fully God and fully man, the promised Messiah, and the only Mediator between God and man. After His atoning death on the cross, He arose bodily from the dead, ascended into Heaven where He is seated at the right hand of God, and will return in power and glory.

The Ministry of the Holy Spirit

The Holy Spirit is the third person of the Godhead who indwells the believer, enabling him to walk in obedience to God and His Word, and empowering him for ministry.

The Creation and Fall of Man

Man was created by God, in His own image. Endowed by his Creator with freedom of choice, man sinned against God through personal disobedience to His revealed will. As a result, sin entered the human race and all mankind is born with a sinful nature facing eternal separation from God.

The Salvation of Man

All people are sinners by nature and choice and are, therefore, under God’s righteous judgement. Jesus Christ died and paid the penalty for our sins, apart from which no person can be saved. God’s free gift of grace to everyone who believes in Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior, coming to Him in repentance and faith, is forgiveness and redemption, and eternal life with Christ.
