What is the Memorial Walkway?
Individuals can register to have a yard sign created with a picture of their loved one. The signs will be placed along the path of the Memorial Walkway.
You are free to keep the sign after the event has concluded.

If you’ve never been to Riverside Park and want to make a day of it, there are so many things to do!
“The second oldest park in Lynchburg, Riverside Park has over 49 acres of rolling parkland with lovely stands of trees and walking trails that provide views of the wooded hillsides and the river beyond. The park has wonderful views of the James River from the Overlook and along the Alpine Trail, which was the first dedicated hiking trail in the City. Active recreation opportunities include tennis and basketball, with extensive playground equipment for younger children located in the front of the park. The park also includes the Sprayground, open seasonally.
